    With the rising demand for qualitative education for the benefit of remote and dispersed population of chitral, the accessibility of a well designed college was being felt since long .In order to meet this urgent and moral requirement of quality education a modest Endeavour is being initiated in the form of Chitral Model College designed to cater for the academic needs of younger students from 9th to degree level.

    In the area of extreme need and isolation, the establishment of the college would be highly symbolic and it will signify the dawn of a new era in the quest to bring science and computer education to the children of this remote area.

    The college offers quality education to the students at affordable cost. The teaching staff is experienced and well qualified. They are responsible to conduct the curricular and co-curricular activities with devotion and missionary zeal.

    At intermediate level, this college is affiliated with BISE Peshawar and at degree level it is registered with Higher Education Regulatory Authority Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar and is affiliated with Shaheed Banazir Bhutto University, Sheringal Dir Upper.

Brief History of the College

The college was established in 2001 and later upgraded to degree level in 2005. Before shifting it to its owned new building in 2008, it had been functioning in different rented buildings at pologround for eight years. In 2009 B.Ed Classes were started in the college while M.Ed programmed was introduced in 2010.

Besides environmental suitability for academic activities, present owned building is also suitable because of its location. It is situated in the heart of Chitral city, a few minuts walk from poloround.

Since its inception, the college has successfully provided an environment based on Islamic values and has been providing the best available facilities to its students.

The college has got the sole privilege and pride to be he fis ever private college in Chitral and since then serving as the mother institution in the field of education in Chitral.
